Published On: May 5th, 2020|Categories: WooCommerce|Tags: , , , |2 min read|

WooCommerce 4.1 is minor release and is now available. 4.1 contains lots of performance improvements and stability fixes. Here’s what’s new in WooCommerce 4.1. See WooCommerce 4.1 Changelog here.

WooCommerce Marketing Hub

Marketing Hub is new addition to WooCommerce which adds a page dedicated to engaging with marketing tools. Marketing Hub recommend a small selection of marketing extensions to help store owners start with marketing. You won’t receive these suggestions if you have already opted-out of Marketplace Suggestions from WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > WooCommerce.com.

WooCommerce team will focus on growing the number and scope of integrations based on merchant usage and feedback (note that Marketing Hub will track extension usage like extensions clicked, installed, managed) and inherits the usage tracking choice that was made during the install of WooCommerce.

WooCommerce will now give an option to select WooCommerce Payments as a payment option for US-based stores right in the on-boarding wizard.

WooCommerce Payments provides a dashboard for managing transactions, including payments, refunds, disputes, and deposits, into your site’s WordPress administration area.

Right now, WooCommerce Payments is only available for US-based stores and supports transacting in USD.
